PERNICIOUS ANEMIA SOCIETY: Our Mission: To secure a full and comprehensive review of the way in which Pernicious Anaemia is diagnosed and treated that will lead to more timely diagnoses and better treatment by:

-Providing information to patients and health professionals, providing help and support to patients and their families, engaging in research with the health research community, and lobbying decision makers.

NOXO'S MESSAGE: This is important to me, as I couldn't get any help, support, or treatment on the NHS or through private healthcare. Doctors told me I was fine, even though I could barely walk, talk, function and spent all my time in bed or to and back to the hospital. I solely had to learn how to treat myself, at home. It was very scary and took a lot of time, effort, and trial and error. Thousands and thousands of people will be missing diagnosis like I was, but won't get the help, support and healthcare advice that they need.

The Pernicious Anaemia society is trying to change the way in which PA is diagnosed and treated. 

With awareness and education, more lives can be helped, and saved.<3
