Story
Zeus was found by Pen and Dan whilst out at a military camp conducting a TNVR survey.
The American soldiers directed them to a small pup they had just found, who's mum and siblings had sadly been poisoned, the puppy, who came to be called 'Zeus' miraculously survived but was heartbreakingly still sleeping amongst his dead family.
There was no way Pen and Dan could leave the little pup there so they brought him back to Nowzad where he grew big and strong and found a new family....
a loving forever home in the UK.
Here, Zeus's new family tell us why they are so keen to get him home:
“When you were little, were you scared about your family dying and being left all alone, frightened and scared? It sounds like a nightmare, but this is what happened to Zeus when he was only eight weeks old. His mum, brothers and sisters were all deliberately poisoned and died. He was found near their bodies by the Nowzad team, all alone.
When we read Zeus’ story, we knew we had to help him.
You can help give Zeus a new life in a safe, loving home in the UK. Any money you can spare will get Zeus closer to us, his new family.
We can’t wait to give him the life he deserves.
Please help rescue him and bring him home.”

The total required for a companion animal to travel to the UK is on average 2500GBP for a cat and 4000GBP for a dog (we make no profit and everything is subject to currency valuations and fuel prices on the day).
