Story

The Nottinghamshire Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease  Association (MNDA) has launched an appeal for donations to maintain our vital support for local people living with MND, a terminal illness.

People in Nottinghamshire living with MND turn to our Branch for advice, face-to-face meetings and importantly, they can apply for financial grants to help improve their quality of life. Your help is vitally important in raising money to allow us to support local people facing this devastating illness.

This is more important now than ever.  MND is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease which affects the brain and spinal cord. It attacks the nerves that control movement and eventually leaves people unable to move, communicate or breathe. It kills a third of people within a year of diagnosis and half within two years. There is no cure. Around 100 people are living with this brutal disease in Nottinghamshire.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to us.

Thank you so much for your donation
