Story

The first ever Screwfix-a-thon! A 26.2 mile fun walk, job, run or crawl... taking part alongside our Virtual London Marathon runners showing our support and raising funds for The Screwfix Foundation. I (Branch Manager of Oxford Botley Road) will be taking part with Dynamite Danny Simpson (Branch Manager of Didcot) and Welsh Wonder Ria Lambert (Previously a Screwfix Trade Supervisor). We are splitting the 26.2 miles in thirds and taking a segment each. Let me tell you I've not run in months and will pale in comparison to the seasoned professionals that are Danny and Ria. The Screwfix Foundation is a fantastic cause that helps many local charities by fixing, maintaining and improving properties and community facilities across the UK. Please donate what you can... Now where did I leave my trainers?
