Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

I've been talking about running a 10k for a long time, so I've decided to stop putting it off and just do it!

I'm most definitely not a runner so this will be a mega challenge for me, you can follow my progress on my blog at www.clareymac.wordpress.com to see how I'm doing.

Alzheimer Scotland is my work's Charity of the Year so I have learnt a lot more about the important work they do in supporting those with dementia, their family and friends.

If you're wondering what they would use the money for, this is taken from their website:

The generous donations we receive enable us to provide:

"With your help, Alzheimer Scotland aims to be the foremost provider of support services and information for people with dementia, their families and friends throughout Scotland and to be a leading force for change.

Thank you for supporting us."

I'd really appreciate any donation you can give, and for every pound you donate, my employer will match it - up to £500!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Wish me luck!! Cxx
