Story
We have decided to ride the Norwich 60 mile cycle event to help raise awareness of Sophie's Stars. Sophie's Stars was set up after our friends sister battled cancer. They are doing some amazing work to help friends and family of people with cancer, but need our help to raise their profile. The charity provides peer support and is creating a community of people with shared experiences. They are doing this through exercise classes, online platforms and in communities such as Universities. We are very grateful for any donation received, and every share or like to help raise awareness of the work they do. We are also dragging Leanne, the Charity founder along for the ride!
Team members- Lucy Collishaw, Katie Chillingworth, Rebecca Goodenough, Andy Cadge, Tom Cadge, Georgia Linnell and Leanne Griffiths.
Sophie's Stars provides support to family and loved ones of people diagnosed with cancer. We have lived through a cancer diagnosis and treatment of someone else, and felt a gap in the support available to us as supporters. Our mission is to bridge this gap to ensure the support you give your loved ones is the best, whilst looking after yourself. Sophie is our inspiration. She battled her cancer with dignity, courage and lots of positivity. We aim to take these traits and use them to help us drive Sophie’s Stars as a legacy to an amazing woman.
