Story
Hi everyone,
I am a researcher in Prof Virdee's lab in the daytime, bird watcher and cyclist during the weekend. I chose to cycle to the Northernmost point of Scotland, in the Shetlands, as a way to publicize the game-changing research for Parkinson carried out by some of my colleagues.
We all know at least one person whose life is or was severely affected by this disease, and it is time to act and find a treatment that blocks or reverses the progression of the disease, rather than just acting on the symptoms.
I am cycling between the 3rd of June and the 24th of June, and I expect to be near the 21st at my Target destination.
Second challenge: spot or hear 145 bird species, one for each 1000 Parkinson patient
