Story

I recently launched alongside Norfolk Community Foundation a county-wide fundraising challenge to encourage people to raise funds throughout the month of August for my Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, which supports community organisations in Norfolk working in mental health, learning disability and autism and focused on children, teenagers and young adults.

The challenge, called 'Walk 500 Miles', encourages people to walk, run, cycle, swim, etc a number of miles by themselves or collectively as a group of people. I have set my own target of cycling 100 miles.

This challenge is not only about the positive impact of physical exercise on our mental health but an opportunity to celebrate what Norfolk can achieve when it comes together.

I would be enormously grateful if you would consider sponsoring me on this challenge and/or taking part in the challenge yourself. Together, we can give our children and young people a brighter future.
