Story
Thousands of immigrants attend Boston’s high schools, but when they graduate, many face a huge obstacle: if they’re undocumented, they don’t qualify for federal financial aid, and many won't qualify for in-state tuition at Massachusetts public colleges. I have had a number of brilliant students struggle to be able to afford college.
Since 2017, the Unafraid Scholarship has awarded a total of $386,000 to 185 graduates of the Boston Public Schools.
Donate today to help students who’ve already been admitted to college, but can’t afford it, to be able to pursue their dreams!
