I support the cause to be able to play my role in contributing to the well-being of cancer patients as it is hard to endure the pain that a family goes through when they are unable to save the lives of their loved ones just because of lack of funds. At Shaukat Khanum, after thorough verification, safe and patient-centered services are provided to those in need. I connected to the hospital right when I realized that SKMCH is competing to serve people suffering from the disease having to live with limitations yet engaging them in activities helping them feel good about their existence even with the suffering, definitely a hard pill to swallow but with love, care and affection of people around, patient not only recovers but gets back to a life they always cherished.
Fast forward to 7 years later, I have witnessed it all by engaging with the patients at various events, general follow ups and engagement via activities. It just doesn't give a boost to the cause I am working for but also brings peace and pleasure of being able to help the one in dire need.
Let's step forward and extend our support to those who really need someone to hold their tears and be the aid to humanity✨
