Welcome to our Mongol Rally 2018 page in support of The Nomad Trust.

As you know, we will be grabbing life by the balls this summer and driving from Lincoln to Mongolia in a 1 litre car that would struggle to get your gran to the supermarket, let alone through Asia and onto the Mongolian "roads".

This is all in aid of fun, mindlessness and most importantly raising money for The Nomad Trust. So why The Nomad Trust?

I've noticed, as I'm sure many others have, that homelessness is on the rise in Lincoln and seems to be spiraling out of control. It's an injustice that we go about our everyday lives and these people are ignored while we make ourselves a cup of tea and climb into a nice warm bed at the end of the day.

The Nomad Trust recognise this and believe that everyone should be entitled to 3 basic human rights; A roof over your head, hot food & drink and a place to shower. It's hard to disagree with that!

In order to make sure everyone gets these basic rights The Nomad Trust are planning to build a new day centre which will provide a 24 hour service for anyone in Lincoln that finds themselves homeless, as well as providing emergency overnight accommodation for the homeless.

The Nomad Trust need to raise £1.2 million to make this happen, they have currently raised £287,000 (about 25% of the total needed). We are aiming to raise at least £1000 to put towards this capital appeal.
