Story
We will be undertaking this challenge in honour of our best friend Josh, who was recently diagnosed with bone cancer just below the knee, and as a result will undergo chemotherapy and amputation surgery in the coming months.
Josh is inspiring to all of us boys and we want to show him how much he's loved by everyone! If you know Josh, we don't really need to say much about him. He is as real as they come... but if you don't, all we will say is you're missing out, he has been making us all laugh and smile for the better part of 10 years.
We have all been blown away by Josh's mindset throughout, it's been a true testament to his character and strength. We as his friends would just like to do all we can to show we're here for him.
So after long discussion (believe us) we have set our eyes upon the Jurassic Coast Day and Night Challenge.
Tate, Jamie, Charlie, Zane, Tommy, Conor, Nathan, Harry, Alfie, Harley, Adriana, Toby, Louis, Brandon, Zac, Marco, Mak, Brooke, Josh Campbell, Joe and Tony will be walking 62 miles (100k) along the south coast, throughout the terrains on the 22nd through the 23rd of May continuously (not much prep, we know!) in support of this amazing charity and our friend Josh.
Any support shown is much appreciated.
Love from, the boys.
The Bone Cancer Research Trust is dedicated to saving lives & improving outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer. Despite being small, they fund more research projects exploring primary bone cancer than any other organisation. Other large UK cancer research charities do not prioritise bone cancer patients, in 2019 just 0.028% of their research spend went to bone cancer – not even close to 1%!Last year alone, Bone Cancer Research Trust committed an incredible £807,824 to pioneering bone cancer research - to save lives!
