Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year, we went on a world tour to raise funds for Right to Play and the Challenged Athletes Foundation. There were some highlights (pedaling through the Austrian countryside at the Austria Half Ironman), some lowlights (swallowing half the Thames at the London triathlon), and then some life changers (the finish line at the Challenged Athletes Triathlon in San Diego - being thanked by a young man born with no arms or legs). In the process, we raised over $1000. Excellent result, the best yet (we've been doing this 10 years).
Although, last year was a cracker, this year this old man is going to take it easy (only a few mid-life crisis challenges).
The Blenheim Triathlon in the UK will be our first stop on the tour. Blenheim is in the England countryside, near Oxfordshire, and the home of Winston Churchill. The triathlon is legendary for the setting and the beauty of the course, so it should be a goodie.
So we are off again. I hope you can join me on the journey by donating whatever you like.
For those of you that have been apart of this with me in the past, you know the story. For those that have not, I do this to honor my father, he gave me the joy of sport and the passion to help others. I try to keep that spirit going by racing for a cause.
