3 Mile Challenge, 29 October, London. InshaAllah.

 

Whilst communities are walking miles on end in desperate search of food and water, inshaAllah I intend to support them by taking part in Muslim Aid's challenge by walking 3 miles. Although 3 miles is nothing compared to what our brothers and sisters go through but hopefully I will feel at least a fraction of the fatigue they endeavour each day. Please sponsor me to raise money for the Africa Appeal and donate generously.

 

Qur'aan [2:267] 

O you who believe, you shall give to charity from the good things you earn, and from what we have produced for you from the earth. Do not pick out the bad therein to give away, when you yourselves do not accept it unless your eyes are closed. You should know that Allah is Rich, Praiseworthy.

 

The Prophet Muhammad (saw) said, "No wealth (of a servant of Allah) is decreased because of charity."

(Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith No. 2247).
