Story
On Sunday 2 October, I will be running the London Marathon in aid of The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. This will be my very first marathon, and as someone who only started running in the lockdown of 2020, this is slightly terrifying (!) but equally exciting and a great way to fundraise for The Rainbow Trust.
The Rainbow Trust provides various forms of support for families with seriously ill children with either life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses. Support is both practical and emotional and a few examples include organising activities for an ill child and their siblings and providing transport and support for parents travelling to and from hospitals.
Here are some illustrations of how your money can help to support families in the most difficult of times:
£15 – this will pay for a day out for a sibling of a seriously ill child
£52 – this will provide two hours of emotional and practical support for exhausted parents
£234 – this will cover six weeks of bereavement support for families
£445 – this will pay for three months of expert and tailored support for a family caring for their terminally ill child

I would be so grateful for any donations to help support The Rainbow Trust's work (and also help to motivate me run 26.2 miles ... 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️)
Thank you!
