On Saturday 20th June I'll be taking part in University of Glasgow's very first Charity Zip Slide! Basically I'll be zipping 1000 feet across the River Clyde, 150 feet in the air. "Sounds like fun" is what I thought when I signed up, but now I've had more time to think about it, I am terrified....

But it's all good cos it's for an amazing cause! The Beatson Pebble Appeal (www.beatsonpebbleappeal.org) is raising money to build a cancer research centre in Glasgow where they hope to convert basic research into real improvements in treatments for cancer patients.
