Story

I'm pretty much your average teenager. I'm moody, I'm drowning in school work and I have
an obsession with comedy programmes that can't be good for me. But there're a few things that make me stand out in a crowd [well, not exactly stand out]. The main one being I have a dragon.

My dragon doesn't breathe fire, and it's not covered in dry, scaly skin. My dragon is a lean, mean rolling machine - a power chair. We stumbled across the dragon when I was 4 years old, and we fell in love.
I'm now on my 2nd dragon, and I think of it as part of the family. It's
the strong arms and steady head I never had, it was small enough to join in with circle time, yet I can make myself tall enough to give my mum a cuddle [as we all need sometimes], and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Sorry folks, the nostalgic daydreams have come to an end, and it’s time for the harsh reality that the Dragon is dead. His contract is very nearly finished, and, well… he's given up the ghost. But, just like I need my mum's cuddles, I need my dragon.

The slight catch, is that it costs £20,000, and we currently have £2.95. We need to raise this money, as the chair isn't provided on the NHS, and, although we’re doing what we can, we need a helping hand. We’re raising money for The Turbo trust, because they can help me, and people like me, get the chair that works for them. Please help give
people the independence they need, regardless of their disability.

Only £23,997.05 to go!
