Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support.
I raised almost £1800 last year for the BHF for the London Classics. I completed the Serpentine 2 mile swim in September and was due to take on the London Marathon in October. Unfortunately, I had to defer my entry due to sickness. Although the training felt like it had gone to waste, it has made me feel even more determined to succeed next October.
I am fundraising in memory of my grandfather, Manmohan Singh Jolly, who passed away from complications of cardiac disease. Research by the BHF should help people keep their loved ones closer for longer, and is a cause close to my heart. Please help me meet my fundraising target of £2500 if you can! Unfortunately the Virgin Money Giving page I had last year was closed, but thank you to everyone who donated.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
