Hello! I am running the 2023 Royal Parks Half Marathon while raising money for Refugee Action – an amazing charity which goes the extra mile to support those forced to navigate the UK’s deeply unfair asylum system.

Refugee Action supports refugees at every stage, from providing initial legal assistance to helping those with refugee status settle into their new communities. In addition to this direct, hands-on assistance, Refugee Action trains lawyers to provide crucial asylum advice, provides safe housing and food for refugees while their asylum claims are pending, and works with refugees to campaign for meaningful change.

Having volunteered at the Refugee Law Initiative since 2021, including being trained by Refugee Action, I can say from experience that any donation will genuinely help every person seeking safety in the UK, representing a small but powerful step towards a fairer, more compassionate asylum system. Thank you for your kindness and support!
