Dear family, friends and well wishers, on Sunday 17th October, along with my daughter Janaki, I will be running the Oxford Half Marathon in aid of Sobell House Hospice. 

As many of you know, my dear wife Ananda Kishori Devi Dasi (Anita Desai) was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in August 2019. From the day of her diagnosis, we were supported in the community by Sobell House Hospice. 

Sobell House Hospice continued to support Ananda Kishori and our family both physically and emotionally and were instrumental in helping us support Ananda Kishori in her final days, allowing a peaceful and joyful departure from this world. It was one of her wishes that we raise money to help the hospice after she passed away. 

We are running to raise as much money as we can for this incredible hospice, so that they can continue to support other families in need during their incredibly tough journeys. 

We are so grateful for any donations! Our hearts are truly indebted to your kindness.
