Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. We all feel very passionate about younger women getting breast cancer and a team of my friends have decided they wanted to do something in my name because from the age of 32 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to go through a really tough time , was not just me who suffered but my family and friends. I not only had the breast cancer once but twice as it had spread, I had to have life saving operations and go through the same ordeal again. I not only have an aggressive form of cancer Her2+ but I am also brca2 this means it is hereditary and this is very sad for my family. I was soon to be 39 in March and just before Christmas 2014 I was in pain and there was no messing when I called my Macmillan breast cancer care nurse,. I was straight in for scans and biopsies to find out within weeks that I had cancer again and I started the chemo for the third time, Macmillan breast cancer care nurses have been my backbone for the past 7 years. So my friends and I are going to raise as much money as possible plus awareness that this disease can come at any time of our lives and the care we receive from Macmillan breast cancer care nurses is what keeps us going. I'd like to say a massive thank you to anyone who donates, one day Macmillan breast cancer care could be dealing with a friend or family member and you will remember you helped by donating , you can set up a monthly direct debit, or you can just give when you are feeling flush of just had a bonus at work, thanks for reading my story I hope I didn't bore you 🎀
