Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Nikki battled a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer for 17 months. Although she fought so hard, with amazing strength, the cancer could not be stopped.

During this time we researched trials for new anti-cancer drugs to try and help Nikki to beat this terrible disease.  Unfortunately, we found that the funding for brain cancer trials, especially for the rarer types of brain cancer, is very limited in the UK.

NIkki's cousin's Ryan, Katie and Jack will be doing a skydive to raise money for Jack's Place Hospice.

During the last few days of Nikki’s life, she was expertly and compassionately cared for by the staff at Jack's Place. Jack's Place provides respite, palliative and end of life care for young people with life-limiting and life threatening illness within a homely environment that has been directly influenced by the young people that use the service.

Jack's place provided great support to our family, allowing us to stay with and spend quality time with Nikki in the last days of her life. They also provided our family with help and emotional support through the difficult times after Nikki had passed away.
