FELLOW TEAM MATE SARA WILL ALSO BE ATTEMPTING 3 LAPS IF WE CAN RAISE £600 BETWEEN US BEFORE RACE DAY

 

It was last year whilst attending Mountain Mayhem as a spectator a group of us decided to enter a girls team of 10 for Mayhem 2010, well it is now upon us and in just over a weeks time I will be taking part in what is described as, "The UK’s toughest 24-hour mountain bike endurance event, challenging the country’s most fearless riders."

 

The event takes place over 24 hours with the name of the game being for our team of 10 girlies to get in as many laps as possible during the 24 hour period and hopefully beating (or at least coming somewhere near to) our rivals the boys team. The course is around 9 miles long with lots of grueling climbs and tricky off road descents.

I am hoping to complete 2 laps one of which will be a night run so please egg me on by giving generously to my chosen charity. If I can reach my target of £300 before race day (19/06/2010) I will time permitting do 3 laps.
