Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October, a team of 10 including me will head to Peru where we will take part in a two-day community project in Cusco, helping the local people before commencing the trek.  We will walk along the challenging Salkantay trail, at high altitude, for 4 days, crossing mountainous and jungle terrain.  The nights will be spent under canvas with very basic facilities (no hair straighteners in sight - in fact no washing facilities, and for those who are wondering, a hole in the ground).  Night time temperatures fall below freezing and we will be spending around 6-7 hours a day walking before we eventually reach our destination - the magnificent Machu Picchu.
