Story

This year I am going to be running the London Marathon in honour of one of my best friends, Stephanie Lambert. As most of you know Steph had Type 1 diabetes and heartbreakingly lost her battle with it on 10th Jan 2020 after years of struggling and having her body destroyed by this unforgiving and brutal disease.

14th October would've been her 30th birthday, so to celebrate her please help me run, walk, crawl and definitely cry my way through 26.2 miles and raise £2000 for JDRF. There's no denying I'm not a natural runner, so this is not going to be a walk in the park for me (see what I did there) and I'd really appreciate any support you could give no matter how small.

JDRF aims to create a world without type 1 diabetes, and I know this would be a world that I and Steph very much wished she could live in. Please support me and JDRF in any way you can while I trudge though the pain with an attempted smile on my face, just like Stephie did.

Thank you x
