I shall be taking part in this years Lincoln Buggy Push.

It is the first time i have taken part in any thing like this and Myself and my son George (10 months) CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

I have chosen to raise money for a charity called When You Wish Upon A Star There aim is to grant the 'Wishes' of children suffering from a life threatening illness, from the age of 2 to 16.

Their gallery page shows a few of the 'Wishes' they have fulfilled for their very special children, and brought a smile to what can sometimes be a very traumatic time, not only for the child concerned but also for the families.

If you could see these children, you would be touched by their courage and some with the prospect of many months, sometimes years, of very painful treatment. They aim to bring a sparkle into their lives no matter how big or small.

If you have happy healthy children you know what joy it brings to see them smile. This is something we should never take for granted, When You Wish Upon A Star deals with those other areas where a sick child's Wish actually becomes a reality in what may sadly be a short life.
