Fundraising for The Royal British Legion
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As a serving soldier of over 21 Years Regular Army service I have seen first hand just how effective and worthwhile the Royal British Legion (RBL) can be to Serving Military Personnel, Veterans and their Families, offering life long support when needed.
During times of hardship (financial & medical) this is when the RBL comes into its own. They are often the first to lend a supporting hand when needed and will regularly be the ones you turn to for help and support. I have seen this on a number of occasions in the past and cannot fault what they do.
The RBL in my opinion is one of the most understated Forces Charities out there and really does deserve all of the help and support it can get to keep the fantastic organisation going. Their work during the November Poppy Appeal just goes to show how much they care about Troops both past and present.
Because of their amazing work, I have chosen to run the Virgin Money London Marathon in 2020 with an initial goal of raising £2000 and if met, increasing to £5000.
Starting in January 2020 I will post regular updates on training and fundraising. Every bit of support offered from 1 penny upwards all helps towards the final goal of keeping this Charity going.
