Story
As many of you may know, I spent part of my summer travelling round Europe. Everything became very simple and I realised that all a person really needs is food, shelter and good company.
Back at Uni I started a project investigating charities, and the homeless, in Manchester. This is when I came across the sleepout, hosted by the Booth Centre. This charity works to help the homeless and vulnerable in Manchester by providing food, shelter and support to those who need it.
Barely a day goes by in Manchester that I don't see someone trying to get by on the streets, lacking something so basic as a home, that I take for granted so much.
I'm going to do what I can by sleeping outside on what I imagine will be a very cold november evening (november 9th). If I can raise £100 in the meantime, it would make it all worthwhile.
So if you could help me out and donate even the smallest amount that would be simply awesome, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks for your time, Nik.
