I will be running the Great North Run 2019 in aid of the Rainbow Trust. My wife Natalie and Step Daughter Polly will also be taking part and running for their chosen charity.

Our daughter Lucia is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment at Newcastle’s RVI hospital and the Rainbow Trust play a big part in making sure the visits for treatment are little less tough for her.
Lucia is currently on a 12 month chemotherapy treatment plan to help manage the brain stem glioma she was diagnosed with last year. Our beautiful daughter has had a lot of challenges so far and still has many to come but organisations like the Rainbow Trust help make it a little easier on her. They organise activities & crafts sessions for the children while they are on the day unit receiving chemotherapy treatment, blood or platelet transfusions. This distraction technique is very much needed and very well received, to get these children through an unbelievably tough day.
