Story
Hi,
I’m Scarlett, I’m 16 and sat at home not doing much. Instead of being fed up I thought I’d try to do something positive
(apart from fetching shopping for my Nan!)
My idea is that we have a National
Night Out for the Nurses!
I wanted to find a fun way to say thanks to the NHS Frontline Staff and break the boredom for kids.
I haven’t been out to see my friends, grandparents or even my boyfriend. It looks like many of the summer festivals will be cancelled and I may even miss out on Prom.
But without the NHS who knows where we’d be!
Of course we can’t actually go out so what’s the plan??
On Saturday 11th April (Easter Saturday) I want you to
- Grab that old tent from the garage
- Set up Camp in the Garden
- Decorate it with lights, flags, whatever you have.
- Post a Picture to Insta and use #nightoutforthenurses
- Connect to the Wifi, listen to your favorite bands and have a mini festival of your own!
- When it gets late, settle in with a hot chocolate and a midnight feast
- Have a great time and Donate your some pocket money to say thanks to the Nurses who’re keeping our families safe.
Donate what you can, I’m donating £10 and I’m asking my parents to donate my brother’s Easter Egg fund.
After you've donated, make sure you enter Absolute Snow's latest competition and be in with a chance of winning £580 worth of Kelty camping equipment : instagram.com/p/B-hvtr8FNiQ (or check out their Instagram at absolutesnow
Will you join me???
Scarlett
