Story

Since Sunday 26th of February, Nightingales has been supporting a group of 25 refugees in Cernavoda. Offering homes to sleep in, food, clothes and everything they need for their stay in Romania, however long that will be, at this stage we cannot tell how long that will be. The local town has been very generous with donations of food, clothes, an apartment and the charity Save the Dogs have donated their minibus for us to use during their stay.

Nightingales feels we could be doing more, we expect that in the next few days and months we could be housing more Ukrainians. Whilst we feel honoured that we can help, and are offering all the time and energy we can, we cannot take funds away from our limited budgets for our other projects. So we have set up this fundraising page to provide specifically for this need. If money is raised that cannot be used before the end of the conflict, all the money donated will be spent on helping these people re-build their lives.

We will be keeping you up to date on their progress and needs as and when they change.
