Seemingly everyone of us is touched by cancer in someway, shape or form. I have suffered personal loss, my family has, as have my friends. Cancer scares me more than anything else in life, not for myself but those closest to me. 

Through the great work that charities such as the Christie undertake in the difficult and never-ending battle to eradicate this awful disease, we can all feel assured that if any of us experience cancer in our lives, there is a great organisation and charity there to support us.

So, what better way for me to help contribute than taking to my favourite past-time, cycling, and ride 100km to raise vital funds so the Christie can continue their valiant efforts!

And don't get me wrong, I love cycling, but 100km is still an enormous task for me…my @ss is sore after only 30km!!
