We protect and champion bugs and habitats to save the small things that run the world

Story

In July 2022, a group of us from Arval will be attempting the 3 Peaks challenge. Our goal is to complete the 3 mountains of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours! 3 mountains in 24 hours is tough enough you may think, but I have a real fear of heights so the mental challenge is something I am going to have to conquer...

We are raising money for Buglife, the only organisation in Europe devoted to the conservation of all invertebrates. They’re actively working to save Britain’s rarest little animals, everything from bees to beetles, worms to woodlice and jumping spiders to jellyfish. Buglife’s aim is to halt the extinction of invertebrate species and to achieve sustainable populations of invertebrates through:

– Promoting the environmental importance of invertebrates and raising awareness about the challenges to their survival.

– Assisting in the development of legislation and policy that will ensure the conservation of invertebrates.

– Developing and disseminating knowledge about how to conserve invertebrates.

– Encouraging and supporting invertebrate conservation initiatives by other organisations in the UK, Europe and worldwide.– Undertaking practical conservation projects that will contribute to achieving our aim.

All monies raised will be donated to Buglife who Arval are supporting in 2022 through various means to support their important biodiversity work.

Thank you for your support!

Invertebrates underpin life on earth and without them the world’s ecosystems would collapse. Saving the small things that run the planet.
