We provide affordable counselling to support people's mental wellbeing.

Story

The three of us will be attempting to walk 27 miles in aid of Cogwheel Counselling, a charity offering affordable counselling in Cambridgeshire. The Stride has been organised to mark Cogwheel's 35th anniversary, and the Coronation weekend just adds to the celebrations.

Please give generously to this excellent cause. We have a promise of MATCHED FUNDING, so every £1 you give magically becomes £2 (or £2.50 if you Gift Aid)!

Cogwheel is a charity we have supported for nearly 30 years, and Nigel has been a trustee for the last ten years. The need for Cogwheel's services continues to grow – more and more people are coming forward for help, while grant funding is becoming ever more scarce. Cogwheel is in the business of investing in mental health, and that is hugely strategic, benefitting the whole of society.

The route takes a large anti-clockwise loop around Cambridge, starting from Histon Rec. We will be setting off at 7.30am. If you want to see the route and other details (or even to sign up to participate), there is more information at https://www.cogwheelcambridgestride.org.uk.

Thank you for your interest and support!
