Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My 3 year old daughter Niamh was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) on the 4th January 2019 after becoming extremely unwell in the space of a few days. The following day Niamh was transferred by ambulance from the Royal Cornwall Hospital to Bristol Children’s Hospital.
With our world in an absolute spin the care and support Niamh, Mummy & Daddy received over the next four weeks from the doctors, nurses & consultants was amazing. Our 5 year old daughter Olivia remained in Cornwall thanks to the wonderful support of both sets of grandparents.
While in Bristol we were visited by my brother in law and in a moment of madness decided to run our 1st Marathon in Scotland! I am running the marathon to raise money for a wonderful hospital and the amazing staff on the Starlight Ward and at the same time it will be a fantastic personal achievement.
