Story

Dear All

Its that time of year again for Jon myself and new comers to the charity ride team Jason Jones to don the lycra and clip into the peddles for a good cause, which for this years cycle challange is in support of Springhill Hospice Manchester.

As in Oct 2009 we are once again cycling the C2C route from Hornsea to Southport (148 miles), but seeing as last year it was a logistical nightmare to get to and from the start and finish (meaning poor Vickie & Emma had do the taxi work), we have decided to make logistics a bit easier for this years ride, and cycle back the day after.

So this is the plan, as in Oct 09 we will ride from Hornsea to Southport on Sunday the 29th Aug 148 miles, then on Monday the 30th Aug we will turn the bikes round and cycle the 148 miles back to Hornsea. YES THATS CORRECT, we will have clocked up a very hilly 296 MILES (500km) in two days all for a good cause (saddle cream at the ready).

Springhill Hospice is a cancer care centre in north Manchester, and has over recent years cared for some close friends and family members, plus another key reason for choosing this charity, is its link with Pams (Nigels Mum)          bi-annual charity party on Sunday the 29th Aug who will be aiming to raising monies for the same good cause.

So once again if we could appeal to your better nature by digging down the back of your sofa or raid the piggy bank, to support us with the 296 miles of cycling fun, all donations are most welcome.

Many Many Many thanks

Nigel, Jon & Jason
