24 hr Walking and Rambling memorial group, was set up in memory of Ian Coombes, who lost his life in November 2012 after a short but fierce battle with cancer. To date there are some forty-eight members of the grip, all meeting up at various times throughout the year in order to celebrate his colourful and exciting short life. 

On saturday 13th & 14th Sept a group will take on a huge challenge to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, walking for 24hrs non stop in relay up and down Pan Y Fan in the Brecon Beacons.
