Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My wife works for this wonderful charity and this year I want to support the work they are doing in our area. They are making a real difference to the lives of survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
Thanks to core funding from the Ministry of Justice, The Survivors Trust, a national umbrella agency for specialist rape and sexual violence support services, has been able to establish a new centre in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Trust House Lincolnshire is a specialist sexual violence and abuse support centre, set up to offer support, counselling and advocacy to those, both males and females affected by rape and sexual abuse. They offer a safe space where survivors can access their services to help improve their wellbeing, regain their confidence and self-esteem and be empowered to reclaim their lives.
Their mission statement is: We believe that every individual has the right to be free from all forms of sexual violence and abuse. Trust House Lincolnshire’s confidential services to men and women place survivors at the heart of what we do, and seek to empower individuals to work through and beyond their experience of abuse.
