We are a 24 hour search & rescue service to save lives at sea

Story

I have lived in Weston super Mare my entire life and have seen the amazing work the RNLI do everyday. These people are volunteers and give up time to help other people, whilst risking their own lives at the same time.

So on Christmas morning at 10:30am I am going to the seafront in Weston to swim in marine lake in fancy dress whatever the weather!!! (Photos to follow to prove I've done it). It's going to be freezing cold and I fully expect to loose all my fingers! My great friend Martin is also joining me so  Please come down and support us if you can and feel free to bring a warm hot chocolate!!!

I am raising money for the RNLI in general but the money will go to the Weston Lifeboat Station.

Too many people are still drowning. More than ever we need the RNLI’s help. As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe. RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.Thank you.
