My friend has recently been diagnosed with MND and is receiving fantastic support from the MND Association. 

It's a terribly cruel and debilitating disease that has robbed him of his mobility. His determination to keep going has inspired me to get my trainers out of retirement and hit the mean streets of the Ribble Valley to get fit and despite dodgy knees, raise some money for a great charity.
