Fundraising for Breast Cancer Now
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the London Marathon 2010 in memory of my fantastic mother, Marcia Morgan. Sadly, we lost her to this dreadful disease in March 2009, the day before her 71st birthday and 3 months before her Golden Wedding Anniversary. Having also lost my aunt Pat to Breast cancer some years ago, I thought this would be the ideal charity for my efforts. I know I will have met many of you as friends, neighbours and colleagues and would ask that you give as generously as you feel able in these difficult times. As I've said before, if I raise enough money, I promise not to publish any photos of me in Lycra - you have been warned. No matter what size the donation, thank you so much. I'll try to do you, and my mum, proud.
UPDATE:
Well, the London Marathon has now been and gone and I'm very pleased to say that I finished in 3 hours, 38 minutes and 37 seconds - a personal best ( a little less than half an hour faster than my previous time). Also, and more importantly, I have managed to reach my donations target - thank you all for your support: it has been fantastic and my thanks to you all. If you haven't given yet but would like to, the page will stay open for another 4 weeks - many thanks in advance :)
