Thanks for visiting my page. I ran a marathon around 10 years ago which was not an enjoyable experience and I hit the dreaded wall. I'm now embarking on another challenge, and am now in full training for the London Marathon this year. I am running to raise money for Royal Voluntary Service.

The charity helps older people in various ways such as running Lunch Clubs and Social Centres, taking people to GP appointments and to and from hospital. The main aims are preventing isolation and loneliness and supporting people to meet others and get out into their community. Much of the support is tailored to what will help the older person the most in their lives.

The money raised will stay locally and will support their work across Edinburgh, Lothian's, Scottish Borders, Ayrshire, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire and Dumfries & Galloway. If you know anyone in these areas who would benefit please give generously. If not please give anything that you can and the money will be put to good use.

The training is hard with at least 4 runs per week, the dark nights and winter weather hasn't yet been a deterrent, so please give whatever you can to help me on this journey towards completing the London Marathon on 22nd April.
