Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
What am I doing? On 25th April I will be dragging my sorry old bones around the London Marathon for the 6th time in order to raise money for the Sussex Air Ambulance.
Why the Sussex Air Ambulance?
About a year ago my eldest son Kris(22) went out on his motorbike with 2 friends, Mark Cheeseman (42) and Neil Akers (35).
Unfortunately, just outside Brighton, Neil was involved in a serious accident. His life was saved by the quick response of the Emergency Services, including the Sussex Air Ambulance who airlifted him to the Royal London Hospital in East London where he spent 8 days in a coma.
His full story can be read at www.sussexairambulance.co.uk/home/reallifestories2/302
Neil has come a long way over the past year and now his family and friends are raising money in various ways to help support an amazing service that gets no Government funding.
