We help the poorest children in Nepal to have brighter safer futures

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Arvin in old Germanic means 'People's friend'. As he turns 1 in January'16, we would love to treat and be joined by not only friends and family we are close to but also those who may live far away. We hope that our small effort will help to bring joy to other children who do not often get to celebrate or attend birthday parties!

As part of Arvin's first birthday celebration,  we are fundraising for Kidasha - a small charity working for and with some of the most vulnerable children in Nepal to prevent exploitation and support a better life and future for them. Kidasha works closely through local partners in Nepal to ensure effective programme delivery and impact for children. A number of children that Kidasha is working with are still struggling to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of the April '15 earthquake. Kidasha's annual review and updates from their December '15 mission in Nepal can be found on Kidasha.org.

Each £ or $ matters! Please feel free to donate as little or much as you would like - we would be very grateful for your support.  Your donation will go directly to Kidasha and your details remain safe and secure with Justgiving.

Thanks very much - we hope you will joining us in wishing Arvin a happy 1st Birthday and making it more memorable and meaningful! Here's wishing you a splendid 2016!

Arvin, Nidhi and Rob
