Story

Dear friends and colleagues

Over the past few years, Santa (aka Peter Luney) has collected money for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice from friends and colleagues in the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service and Department of Justice. In pre-Covid times the collection would have been in person, using only the mildest of festive menaces, backed up with inducements of chocolate.  More recently, however, the collection has gone online as more of us work from home during these challenging times.

Santa is currently doing some work experience with The Executive Office and the Covid Taskforce and we are extending this year’s appeal across NICTS and TEO.

The pandemic has impacted on all aspects of our lives, but charities in particular have found their fundraising activities curtailed. The children who are cared for by the wonderful staff at the Children’s Hospice really need the same generosity that you have all shown in previous years.
