I am taking two years out of my life to fundraise for the baby loss charity Tommy’s. I was given two years’ extended leave from my job within the NHS, on the understanding that I would not receive any wages or be allowed to work for any other business in that time.  I have been self-funding thus far and now needing to rely on donations from the good people along my journey. If you could make a donation to Tommy’s I would be most grateful. Together, let’s help Tommy’s fundraise into a clearer understanding of the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature pregnancy.

My walk was paused in Pembrokeshire, so I could be close by to my brother who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. We managed to make some more great memories together before his recent passing. I will now be continuing my walk, except I will be starting again from the beginning. I'll count those completed 1,600 miles as a warm up!
