Hi there! Thanks for visiting my page. :-) I'm sure that most of you will know my background by now! I'm a 42 year old mum of 3 beautiful little lovelies. I was first diagnosed with breast cancer aged 35 & then again at 39 and have had lots of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and various drug therapies which have done the wonderful job of keeping me alive. I feel lucky every single day & always like to seize life with both hands!! 

Since then, I have helped to set up a new & supportive charity for women diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy or a year postnatally, called Mummy's Star, in memory of the gorgeous Mair Wallroth, for whom the treatments sadly did not work.

It is really important to me to support the work we do at Mummy's Star. We have an increasing number of pregnant & newly delivered mums diagnosed with cancer coming to us for support & I want to make sure that the money is there to help each of them. As Chair, I feel I have a duty to lead by example & take the plunge, in every sense!! This sounds fairly terrifying & has been likened to swimming a mile in the spin cycle of a waching machine! So I'd better get my cossie on & get training.....
