Macmillan has always been a charity close to my families heart, especially my mums after her own father lost his long battle with cancer. She has cycled over 2000 miles and completed a half marathon for Macmillan taking her across the globle raising in excess of £20,000 and is currently fundraising for her most recent challenge to Tanzania in October.

Seeing the way she commits to her training and fundraising is inspiring and I hope one day to be as accomplished as she is. I'm proud to say it is my mum who has inspired me to take on my own challenge, the great south run.
