I joined the Board of the Weekley Family YMCA to find a way to give back to the community in which I live, but also to support communities very nearby that are in desperate need of the Weekley’s
Community Outreach services.  The Weekley YMCA serves Bellaire, West U, Meyerland and the surrounding area community.

Did you know that besides a “mortar and brick” facility, the Weekley YMCA provides incredible programs such as:

• Angel Tree
• Operation Backpack
• Child Care (Before & After School)
• Water Safety & Drowning Prevention
  
• YMCA Camp Cullen Scholarships
  
• Senior Isolation
• Food Insecurity / Healthy Living
• Youth Sports – FOR ALL Levels and Abilities

One of the personal highlights of my participation in these programs is for my family and my office team to take an active role in “adopting” youth from the Weekley Holiday Angel Tree every year.  We enjoy selecting, organizing, and delivering age-appropriate gifts (laptops, musical instruments, bicycles, scooters, toys, and fresh outfits) to brighten the season for families and children who might not otherwise be able to celebrate the season with gifts.
