Story
Last year I completed the Brighton half marathon and the Brighton Triathlon to raise money for the Multiple System Atrophy Trust.
This year will be BIGGER and BETTER! This year my wonderful and supportive husband and best friend is joining me in the fight to raise money to find a cure for Multiple System Atrophy. We are watching my step mother deteriorate at a rapid pace, and there is nothing we can do to stop it. But we can do something to help find a cure for future generations of MSA sufferers. And that is what we are going to do. Sponsor us and you get not one person completing one challenge. Oh no. You get two people together completing a combined total of EIGHT challenges. One half marathon, four triathlons, two muddy obstacle courses, and a week long iron man challenge. No amount of money is too small...or too big. And every penny counts.
Have you heard of Multiple System Atrophy? No? Neither had I....until a year ago when my step-mother's diagnosis of Parkinson's turned out to be a misdiagnosis, and she was in fact suffering from MSA. It is a progressive neurological disease that is currently not well understood, and for which there is no cure. The MSA Trust is the only organisation that both provides information and support to sufferers, as well as carrying out the much needed research to better understand this disease and hopefully, one day, discover a cure.
Please help them to achieve this by sponsoring us.
